The next gun would be the SKS again not really a target gun but again cheap to shoot uses the 7.62x39 same as AK but the gun itself is cheaper 300-$500. The prices of the gun itself is not all that bad around $500. The next I would recommend would be an AK-47 while I am not a big fan of the AK and they are not really a good target good (in my opinion) I HAVE seen guy's use them very proficiently, It uses the 7.62x39 which is one of the cheapest rounds to use. And there are many add-ons available with the AR. An AR-15 in my opinion would be about the best but while the ammo is not that bad (price) the gun itself canīe a bit pricey anywhere from 600 to over $1000. If you are looking for a gun for just target (which I do) you should be looking for a gun with the LEAST recoil that will still do the job
22 there are many types but the Ruger 1022 is about the best buyįor the money and a gun you will probably have for the rest of your life. I would advice you if you don't already have one to start with a. Hi Will3212, From your question I can tell you may have the wrong idea about shooting/ recoil and you've come to the right place.
